The staff was excellent and provided as much help as possible. It still doesn’t help that the bathroom and the bed were of bad quality and the door was only a wooden door, so not a very safe feeling for a woman travelling solo.

Sweet place to stay…right on the beach! Turtles were there…surrounded by tourists! The staff were friendly and kind. Obs not luxury but for a cheap time on the beach very good! Outstanding curry at The Bistro

We loved the close proximity to the beaches. The old worldy charm.of the building. The boys who managed and serviced the rooms were very sweet and helpfull. Sadly Hikkaduwa is monopolised by Russian visitors.

Bra hotell för, bra pris !

Vi hade bokat ett rum med AC i tre nätter, men det blev nåt fel på bokningen så vi fick ett rum på nedre botten med fläkt, rummet är gammalt och slitet men funkar för en natt. Vi fick sedan byta till övervåningen som är nybyggd , och det var mycket bra. Nära till allt från vad till restauranger, och bada med sköldpaddor, fiskar och hajar utanför hotellet till höger. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal på hotellet. Helt ok mat om man vill äta där.

Bra läge, det var allt

Hotellet väldigt eftersatt! Vi fick nig sista rummet (nr4) o det var verkligen ofräscht! o utan fönster, det var ett galler i del av taket (alkov) inget myggnät o kackerlacka i badrummet. Såg att andra rum hade uteplats mot havet vilket såg betydligare trevligare ut! Läget var kanon!

Good location friendly family. Unfortunately our room was very tired compared with photos there was clearly a damp problem. Restaurant has a comprehensive menu although appeared shut the first few days as no effort was made to promote probably our fault make sure you ask for menu. Good restaurants all around.

Great location and the Staff are so lovely!

Turtles Rest has been one of the highlights of our trip so far. It's in an excellent location for surrounding bars, restaurants and shopping. Try the local breakfasts...yum! I wish I could give the staff here a 6 or more. Just lovely.
