"I stayed the one night here as I was on a course in Horsham. The hotel is set on beautiful green grounds. The room was exceptionally big, clean and airy. The bathroom was clean but it would be better to have better enclosure for the bathtub because the water goes everywhere after a shower. For the type of hotel it is, the hand held wall mounted hairdryer was a bit poor. A stronger powerful one would have been better. As it was the weekend, the evening meal was in the bar area. The menu has excellent vegetarian choices. The service was brilliant. The breakfast option was massive, fully cooked, continental, fruit, yoghurt and various juices. Again the staff at breakfast were pleasant and friendly and helped cater to my needs. The spa facilities, whilst small were good to have. Overall a very pleasant experience and I will def come back should I be in the area or just need a weekend away."

"The room was dated but clean. it was good value and a comfortable stay. No negatives except the age of the property - it’s dated and tired but it suited our needs fir a cheap & cheerful one night stay."

"After check in a was shown to my room. Outside my room was a pile of dirty bedsheets. Inside my room there was litter down both sides of the bed. The bed sheets didn’t cover the mattress , and there were hairs on the bed. The place was extremely run down and didn’t feel safe. I went straight down and told them the issues and that I would check out and find somewhere else to stay. Hotel.com tried to get me a refund but the hotel refused. My only advice is to avoid and stay somewhere else. "

"Very good for us as we were attending a convention nearby. Happy to give a 4/5, would have been perfect if the bathroom railing wasn't broken off already, and the TV had almost no options for us, as we would need access to a Netflix or whatever account you need for it. Live TV was non existent, believe me, we tried! There were a couple of free channels to watch, but mostly true crime stuff or judge Judy, or the cheesy older films. We found a few options thankfully, but it wasn't the end of the world. :) Had a bit of everything else other than that, fridge, microwave, utensils, etc so you can cook, and storage under the beds for luggage was a plus. Staff were helpful with my queries over the phone as well. Definitely will try this place again if we're in the area. Thanks again for all your help!"
