The hotel is very nice. It’s not convenient to have to check in 100 meters down the street or go there for breakfast or to use the pool. The noise of the airplanes going overhead is very noisy.

The room was quite nice and the staff were friendly. Note that this is a satellite hotel of another one in the chain. It is a good choice if you want to save a bit of money as the “actual” hotel is a couple minutes away by foot. They connect along the “beach” path which is nice and you have full access to their amenities. The only complaint is that I wouldn’t really consider it a beach hotel, the building is overlooking the water but there isn’t any access to the water and to find sand you’ll have to walk quite a bit. The restaurants nearby were very solid!

We were already staying in the neighbouring resort of Gouves. We decided that we wanted to check out this resort. It was a great decision. This is a beautiful, traditional Cretan resort. We decided that if we came to stay here for a couple of nights we wanted a nice accommodation. We booked a Junior Suite with the most amazing Sea Views. The room was clean, it has a fridge, safe and free air-conditioning with a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Nespresso machine with complementary pods plus a selection of teas and a kettle. Sun loungers on the balcony, hairdryer and a bathroom with a large walk in shower. A small hob/oven. We had an amazing stay. Pay the extra for the Junior Suite and you won't be disappointed. The breakfast was a traditional Greek Breakfast. Tea, coffee, continental meats, cheese, pastries, yoghurt, honey, bread, toaster, greek salad all very tasty. We would definitely stay here again. A cheap supermarket to the left of the accommodation. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants. Happy Days!

En dernier recours

Nous avions réservé a L almare beach hotel et lors de notre arrivée on nous a indiqué qu il y avait un problème sans nous donner de details, du coup on nous a logé au sunset beach hotel. La chambre qu on nous a attribuée etait grande puisque conçue pour 4 personnes, mais le mobilier etait très vetuste, 1 seul oreiller par personne et quand on a demandé une couverture, puisqu il n y en avait pas, on nous l a donnée a contre coeur. Quand au petit dejeuner, cela ressemblait plus à une cantine. D autre part impossible de se baigner dans la mer via l acces prévu car aucune plage et de gros rochers.
