You could walk down to the beachfront but it was a reasonable climb back up the stone stairs, so if walking isn't your thing, you can take your car down where Eutopia have their own park behind the beachfront restaurants. Vathi is a lovely place to stay unless you are looking for party central. We loved it. There are enough restaurants to keep you busy and swimming is good. (mostly sandy) There are also hire boats but we couldn't use them...

"The Alk Hotel is an amazing place to stay. The staff are all wonderful & so kind and helpful. We arrived early & our room was ready, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed & great view. I responded and never heard back. We arrived shortly after 3pm. The host was no where to be found, did not answer the phone, and the bell at the front desk had no use.
