"This is a hidden gem for sure. The view from our room of the ocean was amazing to see in the mornings and then at sunset. We love the communication using WhatsApp. Nice to communicate when we wanted breakfast delivered and to make dinner reservations. "Probably the strangest hotel I've ever stayed at. If White Lotus and The Shining were merged into a singular hotel, that's this place. First, you're stopped at a security checkpoint driving up. It takes five minutes to confirm you're on their "list." You will have to redo this every single time you leave or return. The water in the rooms was brownish. A note in the room said this was a temporary issue, but reading other reviews indicates this has been a 2 YEAR PROBLEM. Even if the water was...

"First: The property is hard to find. Looking for 23 Lang Street per Expedia. But you have to enter 25 Lang Street. Why can’t they provide accurate directions? Very poor start. Second: The room is huge and clean and well-appointed. Oh wait, the architect forgot something. How about a bathroom door ! And bathroom walls that reach the ceiling! This place is for monkeys, not humans. Made for a unique experience that I’ll hope to not repeat. Somebody didn’t think this place through."

"Everything EXCELLENT..only hassle seems to be coffee availability in dining room...boiling wster not available whern container runs out.. at least a minimum of 10min wait to replenish. LADIES in DINING ROOM constantly tidy& reset tables after use, but notice that young men are scarce when this needs to be done!"

"Loved our stay here. Beautiful view of the ocean with the jagged mountains to the left and Mossel Bay to the right. Thoughtful owners gave a quick and efficient tour of the facilities, and made themselves available to provide breakfast in the morning. Modern facilities, especially bathroom very nice. The location is a 15-min drive away from Mossel bay, but the roads are good and it's convenient to get into the town for dinner. Would be happy to come back here."

"The initial arrival when we parked in the public parking raised some concerns, however the lovely hotel security lady quickly intervened and directed us to the proper hotel parking, from that point it was fantastic! The room was spotless, big and well appointed. But THE VIEWS!… WOW!!! The hotel certainly lives up to the name! The staff were all brilliant from the moment we arrived to the point we had to sadly check out. We will be back again!!"
