Offering a very early check in as well as free parking are some of the little extras we do as a small family-run business where we can make guests feel at home. Thank you for your comments - we are really pleased that you enjoyed our hosting during your stay with us. As your review is anonymous we are unable to know which room you stayed in which is a shame as we always act on constructive criticism. In general terms though, we can say that all our bedrooms are equipped with bedside cabinets, drawers and a wardrobe as well as luggage stands and desk or dressing table so that both long-stay guests and overnight visitors are catered for. We really enjoy sharing our beautiful Grade II listed hotel-home with everyone who stays with us and we are constantly updating and refreshing it's fabric as it deserves, so we hope you have reason to return to Hereford so that we can show you the most recent changes. Thank you for your review; as an establishment with a bar, restaurant and guests' sitting room, we are classed as a hotel rather than a B&B although we feel our personal touch is a positive whatever the listing. We are sorry if you felt our services were lacking in any way as we have served breakfast, daily refreshing of rooms and staff always on site so we are a little confused here. Thank you for your response; we are sorry that you felt misled but as an establishment with a bar and a restaurant, we are categorised as a hotel rather than a B&B. Our 2pm check in time is standard and guests are always able to leave their cars while they explore the area. Pre-ordering food helps us keep our food waste down which is very important to us and the mini jacket-potatoes were served with the other seasonal vegetables so we are sorry that you found these an odd menu choice. As with most of England, we were in the midst of an incredibly cold snap and had you asked, the fire could have been lit for you in the bar if you preferred to be downstairs rather than in your room. We do try our best to make each guest comfortable and so are sorry that you felt unable to communicate your concerns during your stay especially as we were in conversation with you throughout the evening.
