"My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay, 5/5. The host Stelios is very welcoming, helpful and kind. The mansion is beautiful, our room was amazing with a private balcony and the pool looks over the valley and Heraklion. "Great hotel. It is a bit dated. The room & linens were dated/worn. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is indeed one of the BEST I've had. Location is 8min walk to the Ferry port and 10 min. walk to the tourist pedestrian street. Our room faced the back and I was quite worried as it looked down onto a street which had a disco/nightclub and a strip club but there were no issues and we couldn't hear a thing. Roof top restaurant has great views. Food was decent but a bit pricey. Pool deck is nice...

"Wonderful breakfast, lovely room. A bit of mix up regarding city tax that was collected upon checking in and again at check out. No one informed us the tax was per night. I would have thought all taxes would have been collected at check in."
