The fire place was lovely, gardens were overgrown which was disappointing whilst looking out the window. The outside of the property was unclean, dirty windows cobwebs, but was happy with inside . Mould on bathroom window

A serenic, scenic and comfortable retreat

We have stayed here a number of times over the years and although the cottages are getting older, they are very comfortable in a tree surrounded location. They are self contained and provide a wonderful quiet retreat that is the perfect escape for city dwellers like ourselves. The owners are lovely and we look forward to returning for many years to come.

Way too cold. They have a heater but the seals on the doors need fixing as the cold air comes straight in to blow out the heat. A waste of power.

Pleasant, quiet location

This property is in a quiet location with an attractive outlook despite little sun in winter. The heating was good and very necessary as it was very cold when we stayed. Unfortunately the property is let down by the detail: (1) the glass table top and coffee table were very badly smeared as if they had been wiped by a dirty cloth rather than properly cleaned; (2) neither of the bathroom doors can be closed; (3) the fan in the bathroom does not appear to work; (4) the toilet door sticks badly; (5) the dining chairs were too low to sit comfortably at the table.

Nice villa

We enjoyed our stay, we turned up and the fire was on and heater on which was a nice touch. Room was spacious, the bed was great and the SPA was awesome. Would def recommend and we would happily stay here again. Only down side is that the units are joined and our neighbours were noisy and up late so we were kept up until nearly 1pm. This is not Hepburn Villas fault, just some inconsiderate neighbours.

Cosy weekend away!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hepburn Villas (Deluxe Queen Villa) over the weekend. It was a clean and cosy villa in peaceful surrounds, and completely private. It had all the amenities we needed and the welcome gift was a lovely touch. The only negative would be the bed. It was very hard, so we were a little stiff and sore after the third night. Other than that, I would say our experience was perfect!
