"My partner and I were very excited to stay here. Before our arrival, we were informed that the occupancy during our visit would be low, so we inquired about a paid upgrade at check-in. Unfortunately, our request was denied, even though we saw many vacant rooms and very few cars in the parking lot. This left us confused about the unavailability of an upgrade. Additionally, the room next to ours was booked by a family who were up very early, and we could hear every footstep. We had hoped for a bit more privacy during our stay.
On a positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed the food in the restaurant, and the live music was a wonderful touch. However, we wished we had been acknowledged as hotel guests during our meal, as other guests were. The server assumed we were not staying at the hotel (despite our reservation) and dropped off the check without asking, which made us feel a bit singled out.
Overall, all of the associates were extremely friendly, and the views were absolutely stunning!"
"The property was emaculate and the staff were friendly and responsive. The breakfast was minimal: the only egg option was hard boiled eggs that had green yolks. The only savory options were biscuits and gravy served together in same server, or sausage links. There were make your own waffles but most of guests I observed couldn't use it."
"nice and clean rooms. Felt secure specially when you have a little one. The front desk lady was really helpful . The continental breakfast don’t really recommend."
"You are my new favorite place at the coast. I love the electric kettle. I love that there are no tv’s. Everything in the room works. And the restaurant is fantastic. To find all this in the most beautiful spot on earth is a gift. Thank you very much."
"The staff was very helpful and friendly and that was the best part about this property. Obviously it's not the staff's fault but the property is in disrepair. My towel rack was hanging off the wall in the bathroom, there was cracked tile with messy foam and putty, and there was no hot water in my shower. The pool was well maintained and the kids had a lot of fun because it only got to 5 ft so it was pretty safe. No bugs or anything like that and the beds were very comfortable and clean. The rooms are just funky and a lot of wear and tear with all kinds of little repairs that are needed. TVs worked fine. Mini fridge is a nice addition! It's what I expected for the price."
