“This unique hotel is absolutely spectacular and deserves a spot on everyone’s bucket list. I’ll definitely be returning, especially with so many activities and sights to enjoy nearby.”
The views from the pool are stunning. The rock formations in the background are so ideal for social media pictures that there are an annoying number of people filing social media of themselves by the pool. I totally understand wanting to capture the beauty but wish there was a time limit to how long the social media people filmed themselves. Maybe a 15-30 minute max? The cottage was nice and the location was great. I had great experiences with local tour guides too. Overall a very good experience and I will be recommending friends to come visit.
Amazing stay! Amazing service, good. Pure tranquility. The staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough to make us feel at home. Can’t wait to visit again!
This is a bucket list kind of property the environment arquitecture and amenities service you won’t find them in any other place we even stayed at the Banyan Tree AlUla and our habitas is best over all
Our stay was a unique, fascinating experience surrounded by breathtaking scenery and culture. I can only recommend a stay there and in Saudi Arabia in general.
Staying at Habitas Alula is a life time experience. I cant wait to come back here again. from the location, food and customer service was just exceptional.

The location is breathtaking.
The staff lacks in professional experience, but the people are extremely kind truing to solve any possible issue.
The villas need some renovation works.
We had a really wonderful holiday there.
Beautiful rocky view, the best pool to take photos, and tasty food in Tama…
The only thing that we feel inconvenient was we have to a buggy when we move to the pool or restaurant. Sometimes we had to wait more than 20minutes.

Awesome experience. Professional service and staff
Wow Im very grateful for habitas making my experience here worth while.I'm a solo traveler and it has been an amaking self reflective journey here. From their very attentive staff, wellness programs, to the most beautiful views. Everything was more than amazing
The hotel is perfectly located and the it has stunning views. The swimming pool is amazing. It is a shame the overall experience is damaged by the low quality of service. Not what you would expect from a premium location with such rates. Something to definitely watch out and improve!

IN LOVE with this hotel. Truly exceptional!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this hotel. I usually don’t stay in luxury hotels because I am always outside exploring and I prefer to spend money in experiences rather than accommodation, but this hotel is an experience! The location is unbelievable, the rooms are exquisite, the staff is amazing and welcoming, the food delicious and nourishing, the infinity pool is out of this world, and I can go on and on. I strongly recommend it. It is worth every penny!

Having stayed at BanyanTree for four days before arriving at Our Habitas, our opinion may have been skewed. Check-in was definitely seamless, and the staff are more than courteous. They are polite and attentive. The property is large but they have golf carts (buggies) which are always available with almost no wait. The reception area although small is very functional and they offer guests free coffee/tea and cookies as well as other treats at all times of the day. The rooms however, are definitely dated considering the resort is only five years old. There is almost no area to put your clothes away. We were essentially living out of our suitcases for the three days while we were there. This wasn’t a huge inconvenience, but for the money you pay, you would expect more drawer space in a 5 star hotel. The air conditioning unit was also incredibly loud. Breakfast was included and the choices were reasonable. The pool is definitely used at almost all times by bloggers and other individuals wanting to take videos and pics for social media posts. It’s a bit overwhelming if you’re only intention is to go swimming. None of the guest rooms have a personal pool option available which I firmly believe many guests would appreciate. Although the general atmosphere is fun and inviting with many people about, the resort is certainly not as luxurious as Banyan Tree. The Caravan area was beautiful. Would still recommend staying at Habitas, but a two day day may be more than enough
Habitas is an amazing place to stay - the location and surroundings are utterly beautiful. The pool is stunning and incredibly special and the food and juices are very good. The service is pretty poor because the staff are clearly not well trained which lets the hotel down. However it is clear that most of them are trying their best. Despite that, I would definitely stay again for the incredibly location, scenery and quiet.
Ignore the bad reviews! I came to this place and it felt like I was in heaven surrounded by angels. The resort is such a beautiful sight in person, everyone is so kind always ready and willing to guide and help in any way that they can. I’m a black woman and this was my first time solo traveling and everyone made me feel so safe and at home. If you are looking for peace you’ll find it on this resort. Even the tours, I went to reception every morning to book my activities for the day. I booked a private car each time that way I could go anytime/where I want. Qusai at reception was super helpful and kind, he really made everything easy for me. My drivers Mahmoud & Chehab were fantastic, very knowledgeable and great people. I had an amazing time both tours. I saw some bad reviews at first about the golf carts taking long to get to rooms to take people to the pool but from my perspective it felt like they took the reviews into consideration and improved tremendously, I had no issues at all getting around ever! As soon as I called the front desk someone came in a minute or 2. The drivers Ambrose & Bright were so kind and patient when coming to get me. Even the staff at the restaurant Ahdab and Evelyn, such sweet girls, I was alone so they took my pictures for me! I was so shy but they made it fun, even their service and food was amazing. I also recommend the sound bath meditation, such a peaceful & needed time! Thank you Habitas!!
While the property itself—set in a stunning location with spacious, clean villas—is truly impressive, my experience at this 5-star hotel was far from what I expected given the price and reputation. Unfortunately, the lack of attention to guest service and poor communication overshadowed what could have been a much more enjoyable stay. Despite multiple attempts to reach the hotel via both email and WhatsApp, I received no responses to my inquiries before and during my stay. In the hospitality industry, prompt and effective communication is key, but the hotel staff completely failed in this regard, leaving me frustrated and unsure of the details of my booking.
For a special occasion, I requested a birthday cake to be delivered when having breakfast. Not only was the delivery late—well beyond the promised time—but when it finally arrived at the villa, there was an error in the message written on the plate. These small yet significant touches were completely mishandled, and it felt like no effort was made to make the celebration feel personal or special.
At a luxury property, this level of disorganization is simply not acceptable. While the villas are spacious and well-maintained, and the surrounding area is gorgeous, the service falls far short of what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. For the price, the overall experience doesn't justify the cost, and I left feeling that the hotel could not live up to its premium branding.
