"Although this only an overnight stay, we were very impressed by the room and the staff who were most helpful. The bathroom was very clean. The air-conditioning was a little on the cold side even after adjustment. A nice touch were the complementary shortbread biscuits which were delicious. The breakfast was excellent and we will be happy to stay there again on a future occasion."

"I booked a room last minute when other accommodation plans fell through. It really was excellent value for money so we decided to opt for a slightly bigger room with a bath which was worth it. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious with lots of tempting options. I have already recommended the pub and hotel to friends and family and I would not hesitate to stay again!"

"Angel Inn is close to the centre of Petworth, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a large modern bath and separate shower and everything was very clean. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. "
