"This used to be my school until 1982 and it has been lovingly restored into a beautiful hotel with great amenities in amazing grounds. Ample parking and a safe environment leads to a peaceful and relaxing stay. "

"Nice location, in the deep of Surrey AONB but that’s where it ends. The building itself is dated and needs modernising. It’s great as somewhere to lay your head. Small bathroom, thin pillows and duvets. "

"This was a lovely hotel and we had a great stay. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and also a welcome gift which was very well received. The room was great, a good size, clean and well maintained. The grounds were gorgeous. The Manor House is beautiful. The golf course was good and well maintained. The food was good, we had a nice breakfast and paid for lunch in the bar. The hotel has multiple games including table tennis, table football, pool and arcade games, space invaders,...

"Cancelled 2 rooms we had booked for nearly a month due to some rooms having flooding issues. Offered us hotels over 20 minutes away which just didn’t work. Also tried to offer us to share a twin room vs having 2 separate rooms booked at another hotel. After a 5am start to get to Woking for work for the day this is the last thing that was needed. At the moment zero accountability (this may change with a full complaint letter). Will also lose a lot of generated cashback and traveller perks etc...

"Clean and nice, but nothing to around it. Breakfast was nice and there is a gym and a bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. It would be a wonderful health resort if they add a spa, sauna, etc. "

"Just home from the most amazing five days here. The hotel is spotless and the staff all smiles,. My grandkids loved the warm swimming pool, the outdoor gym and the playground. The grounds are wonderful kept, full of mature trees, a war memorial and a pretty fountain. And that's before you get to the front of the hotel. The breakfasts blew us way, and our one evening meal was delicious. "

One negative that we experienced was when we arrived we waited for a while before anyone came and when they did they simply gave us our key, told us our room and that was it. No warmth, not very friendly and was a bit of a shame. Left us both thinking it was a bit off. Other than that, the hotel was lovely. "

"Breakfast was ok but lacked fresh fruit, the property needs a refresh and fridges in the bedrooms (although one was supplied on request) No air con but that's normal for the UK. The room was clean and the sports bar was ok - spacious and quick service with pool tables and tvs to watch sport. Driving range and tennis courts were fun and there are outdoor spaces to sit and relax"

"I chose to stay here as I had a flight the following morning at Heathrow. It was the ideal location, with parking and right next to the Thames, walking distance from the Magna Carta. However what I didn’t factor in was the size and number of guests. Having stayed the previous night in a small 5* hotel, I found the noise and crowds rather overwhelming "

"Warm welcome. Single room compact. Shower was amazing, best ever. Room decor could be spruced up. Honesty Bar. Evening Dinner was delicious but slightly expensive. Breakfast cooked to order for 0700hrs. Great coffee and breakfast highly recommended. "

"Breakfast needs a re think. 15 mins to get a fried egg is not really acceptable and the choice of items limited. Hot food was not particularly hot."
