The Econo Lodge is a little worse for wear, but the room was clean, had enough chairs, and most importantly for me, the bed supported the curvature of my spine, something some more upscale hotels seem to have decided doesn't matter recently. The staff was friendly and very helpful when my car would not start after I returned from my trip.

Did not need air conditioning. Brief stay in winter. Room quite warm. Heat system makes a ticking sound Bed clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean; lighting too bright. Transportation to BDL was frequent and available. Did not look for food availability so no opinion on this.

Comfortable and convenient stay. Flight arrived late. So decided to stay the night. Always park my car there when traveling. So arrived at 12:30 AM. Check in was smooth and friendly. Staff always friendly and accommodating.

The outside was somewhat dirty and rundown; the inside of the building was clean but very cheap looking (plywood doors with padlocks, institutional walls and floors) and the outside door had no lock, security concerns?? The rooms were very nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable with clean linens and towels. I'm planning to stay here again, but would really like the outside door to be locked!
