The hotel is right in the middle of the city so very congested area. If you are traveling in a pickup over 6 feet tall or have any type of trailer, you will not be able access the parking garage there. If you pay for parking it cannot be refunded so be careful. They were gracious though and gave us breakfast vouchers because of our parking issue. This was the only downside to our stay. The actual hotel is very nice with very quick registration. The desk staff friendly and helpful. The elevators are very fast and were never crowded. The room was adequate. Average

the room was dirty, the shower grout had pink mold on it, AC unit had mold, dust was blowing from the ceiling. the parking garage was unavailable and didn’t have alternative parking and wasn’t knowledgeable about street parking. after check in i went to get a shower and there was no body wash, then the 2nd shower there was no shampoo.

The hotel is dated but the beds were clean and comfy. The first room we were in had some minor damage and mold in tub. We were moved due to an intense domestic disturbance in an adjoining room. The staff especially Elijah was very helpful during a stressful night. The second room we moved to definitely had a nicer/cleaner bathroom. And the second room was very quiet. I was disappointed to learn upon arrival that parking was valet only for $25/night. Although this was a good location for a downtown stay I wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was nice but the bathtub could've been cleaner. We had a great view. The elevators were kind of dirty. The pool was great. The breakfast was cold (we were the first ones to arrive at 6:40am). To be fair, they told us it was a slow week so they had only half the usual breakfast buffet available. The rooms were poorly maintained, very outdated, small and had a musty smell . The air conditioner sounded like a loud lawnmower and we could not sleep because of this. The best part of our stay was how nice, friendly and helpful the valet were.

Just your basic downtown Harrisburg PA hotel, very mid. Nothing went wrong, the front desk staff and valet were professional. It's just an old hotel and not in the classic way. The bathroom was small but was newly remodeled -- that was the best part of the room. Friendly advice -- the thermostat on the hotel water heater could be trimmed at 180F instead of letting it go all the way up to 212F. The hotel restaurant was dim and antiquated, the food and service was acceptable.

There was an issue with the water line/ plumbing in our unit. The toilet woul not flush properly and we would have to wait at randoms times for the cistern of the toilet to fill with water. As someone whose understands the importance of conserving water it would have been helpful to have been notified of this in advance. Outside of that staff was very helpful, cleared out room and the breakfast was great.

When I first arrived, they told me my booking was cancelled, so they couldn't find it. Eventually, they found it. The room was nice, one night we needed blankets there were all out. Had issues with the heating as it took a while to come through the vents. Had to call maintenance a few times. For the price we paid breakfast should have been included. Overall its close to the bus terminals and the local bus stop is outside the hotel. Overall it was okay depending on what your needs are.

What makes this stay stand out were the staff. Incredibly kind and helpful. The place is clean. The breakfast is good. My bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a little dated but the staff were exceptional. I'd stay again anytime I'm here. Quick walk to the Capitol also.
