"My stay at Beachside Resort in Panama City was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The internet made it look like a great place, but that was very misleading. The room had an unpleasant smell, almost like it hadn’t been cleaned properly in a while. We were given an upgrade, and while the upgraded room was a little better, it still wasn’t anything to brag about. Overall, the experience was very disappointing. I would not stay here again, even if it were free."

"The property location was preferable as it is a mile west of the Pier yet close enough to walk the beach for shopping, etc. Parking is limited and if you park across the street you have to watch for traffic. There is a crosswalk however vehicles will fly by while you are crossing over. The property itself can use some improvements. There was black mold on the bathroom floors, beds could use an upgrade as they felt very worn. There was limited kitchenware an no dish soap so ate out despite having a kitchen. The pool/hot tub were a hit as well as the proximity to the beach. There is soccer pool on the premises as advertised however there were only a small handful of balls, all of which were flat and beaten pretty bad. Asked the front desk clerk if there additional balls or even a ball pump and was told there was a ball for sale in their gift shop. Overall, worth the price if you’re on a budget and/or just looking for a place to shower and sleep however set your expectations accordingly "

"The room was clean but dated. We had to call for fresh towels daily. We stayed on the second floor with balcony. The palm trees blocked the view from the balcony. The only ice machine is in the hotel restaurant. We loved that it has a private beach. "

"The pool was clean the room was filthy dirty I woul upload a picture if I could . They provide coffee maker but no cups to drink out of . The floor had dirt in all the corners and side boards on the floor have never been clean I kept my shoes in at all times. This could be a nice place if they would out some elbow action into cleaning they just move the mop over it that's it so gross. "

"Queen size sheets on a king size bed...needed multiple blankets because they were thin...needed 6 pillows ( also thin) to do the job of 2 pillows. I dont feel paying guests should have to pay $22/ a day just to park in their garage...they take your parking out of the $250 incidental fee upon checking out...blamed it on Expedia not giving me that info before my stay. Im glad im home because the springs in the bed were so loud every time you set down on it / uncomfortable. But hey; good ocean view and housekeepers were so nice...THEY NEED A RAISE!"
