"A brand new building - opened in the Fall of 2025. Very central with easy access to a streetcar station across the street. Spadina subway station is one block away. The amenities are basic, but it is a student residence after all, so come with the appropriate expectations. A very beautiful building. As a guest, you have access to the laundry room and some common spaces.
I would stay here again. Similar hotels in the same area would be much more. I stayed in May of 2026."

"This 3-storey hotel is a walk-up--a problem for one of us. There are no phones in the room so communication with the (obliging) front desk meant 37 steps down and 37 up. An interesting assortment of books was in the room, though. The front door opens on an alley; not familiar to all taxis. Price high for quality. There's coffee and pastries for breakfast, but no proper restaurant. AC is noisy. Nearby Bloor Street has many eating places, but none to write home about.

"Clean room, and very comfortable bed. Curtains didn't close completely so not blacked out, one elevator wasn't working, the other elevator door only opened half way. Staff was competent but cold. The breakfast that was included comprised of cookies, bagels, & toast and that's about it. The coffee..not so good. The price was right, rooms were clean, a/c nice and cold. "

"The hotel was a useful overnight stop during a longer trip. Our room was large, bathroom adequate, bed and pillows were comfortable. There was limited bedside lighting and carpets felt tired. Staff were helpful and we enjoyed our first Canadian breakfast (albeit with throw away plates and cutlery)."

"Front lobby staff were excellent and very helpful on check-in, but had a rude experience with one front desk staff when asking for a late check-out, think the name was Karen and maybe a manager, who was very rude. She basically said "late check-out you pay" but when I went to the lobby to ask a young staff, she said "no problem take your time". We only checked-out late by about 15 minutes!

"The shuttle service from the airport wa disgraceful. I waited 50 minutes.
I asked for a wake up call which I did not get.
The shuttle does not go at convenient times in the morning.
The shuttle vehicle I doubt would pass a road test. The driver took back roads and was nearly able to keep it straight.
I would not recommend this property for airport travel."

"I thought my room was amaaaazing! I’ve never had a room like that before. The view was great too. Plus it was up graded too, for free. I loved the bathroom too. Next time I will stay longer. I could probably just stay in that room for days and not leave."

"Hotel itself was nice however the front door is kinda hidden. Our room was comfortable until the roof of our bathroom began leaking water heavily and we were then switched. Elevators were a bit sketchy in my opinion, very loud and the buttons didn’t always work. Staff was very helpful and kind."

"Perfectly good hotel. There is a free cold breakfast and you could buy a plate of bacon and eggs for pretty cheap if you wanted. I was just there for a short stay but the room was pretty nice and the bed was good, so it was a good place to stay for relatively cheap."
