Beautiful and private world-class beach with nice beach chairs and umbrellas. Steel drum background music in the evening, everyone happy and having a great time. My room was great and so was the staff!

Rustic is nicer way to describe this plno hot water for the entire stay. I was a little disappointed the front desk didn’t seem to care about that. For $380 a night that should’ve been more important. There was an ant problem. Nothing too bad. On the plus side, the beach is beautiful and private. They try hard to make it welcoming and hospitable. Coffee and breakfast, snacks etc. With a little work it could be a fantastic place.

Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and set up beach chairs, and towels with an umbrella all within five minutes of arriving to the hotel. The staff definitely gets five stars.

Great stay

We drove out from north New Jersey and got in late. Jake, the manager on duty was there to greet us. He was friendly and kind and helpful! The room was very clean and we had a private beach to ourself in the morning!!

I chose this Awesome location on the beach for an impromptu getaway. I was extremely happy with my decision. The hotel is very peaceful and picturesque. Lots of bird’s singing, 10 min drive to nearby towns, shopping, restaurants etc. Staff was very young, friendly and hospitable. Would definitely return, loved it!

The staff were some college-aged guys who made us feel super welcome. The place isn't what we were expecting, which, for my family, was totally awesome! We wanted to experience The Hamptons without all the rich/famous/fancy/frills, and this place was perfect for that! The location and beach access were exactly what we were hoping for! Housekeeping was a little disorganized, but the laid-back atmosphere was just what we wanted and everyone (staff and guests) was helpful! There was a fridge full of N/A beverages, burgers for the grill if you wanted to use that, coffee and snacks in the lobby, and yard games in the grass outside, just before you stepped up the wooden staircase and onto the beach. I'd go back!

We found crumbs all over the kitchen area so visible to ignore by cleaning team in our room. When mentioned to front desk seems not to care. Stained couch, broken window, curtain rods .. how expensive it is to get new ones ?? Common area completely messy. Overall the place needs a lot of attention.

Katastrophal!!!

Sehr herunter gekommene Unterkunft, die nicht einmal die 2,5 Sterne wert ist. Extrem ungepflegte Zimmer, Haare in der Dusche, schmutzige Teppiche. Türen gehen fast nicht auf und streifen an den Teppichen. Außenbereich verwahrlost. Preis für die Unterkunft extrem überteuert! Kühlschrank in der Lobby extrem unhygienisch! Wir waren froh, die Unterkunft wieder zu verlassen! Wir raten allen Interessenten DRINGEND von der Unterkunft ab!!!

Nice quiet place to stay

The place is a bit run down but definitely has a character. Very supportive and friendly staff. There are bagels and snacks in the lobby. Very convenient location right on the beach. Very quiet. Good stay.

The place was not clean at all. The toilet was used prior to our arrival and had stains of feces in the bowl. in addition the sheets on the bedding was stained. The sofa in the main room was stained and smelled like vomit. The room was filled with misquotes. Sadly my husband and were bit. We went to a target in riverhead to buy a sheet to lay and a fleece blanket with two pillows. The room was absolutely disgusting. In addition there were signs of insect issues as their remains were splattered in the wall in the bathroom and living room walls.

It's bare-bones-BUT-it is a min. to walk up some steps to the beach. Place needs renovating-breakfast is left -overs (although they said they get fresh bagels--they apologized that they did not have a car that morning. ) King-size confortable bed-A/C in wall., tiny bathroom. Price was $277. w/ tax. --convenient on Dune road-near restaurant called "Dockers"--very nice.
