"I arrived into London on an early flight so went straight to the hotel where I was told my room was ready. Then I was told that if I wanted to check-in I would have to pay an additional £55! I went to work and returned at 4pm and check-in was an absolute disaster - I was passed between 3 different receptionists. I eventually got to my room at 4.45pm. Have been using this hotel for almost 20 years and every year the service level declines which is so disappointing!"

"Location isn’t clear it’s not on King St but down an alleyway, new signs would be more helpful as the sign on King St is over a premises that is closed. Rooms are small but adequate for the price. Worn carpets etc just need a refresh. Sofa bed very lumpy. Staff were pleasant & helpful, breakfast a good standard with lots of choice, breakfast to go was excellent. Would stay again great location for exploring London "
