Great place for even a one-night stop

Just passing through, but wow that is gorgeous country. The cabin was just like the picture shows, up against the forest and only a short walk to the lodge for meals. Pretty comfy!

Exceeded our expectations

This cabin in the woods was a great escape. We loved the decor and the comfort with everything we needed. The grounds were rustic and well maintained. We were close to the conveniences of town but in the woods where it was quiet and really beautiful. There was a restaurant and bar set back from the cabins. The staff was very accommodating. Great stay for our family - just wish we could have stayed longer.

This place is awesome!! It is not far off the main highway, but it feels very remote. The cabins are in excellent shape and very clean. They have wi-fi if needed. The on-site Saloon and Restaurant make it very convenient to have adult beverages and no need to drive afterwards - you can easily walk back-and-forth to the cabins. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area.

Lost horse is an amazing little hidden gem. We were in the Bitteroot Valley looking for a place to stay for the night and found this. We were able to book same day less than an hour before we arrived. They made check in super easy we just popped into the main lodge and they let us know our room was unlocked and ready for us to go. Room was super clean and really nice. Very upscale for the price that they charge. They have an awesome bar and restaurant right across from the cabins less than a 60 second walk with great food and cheap strong drinks. We loved it here and will most definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Wish the stay was longer

The staff were so helpful in getting instructions for check in and check out to our group. The cabins were comfortable and quiet and the property had space for our group to meet up and cook out.
