Nice central location
We were in Finland for a race in Lahti. Close enough for us to stay and the town was really cool, centered with a castle and a good military museum.

Convenient location
The staff was super friendly and the location was nice, walkable to several attractions as well as a shopping mall. The beds were comfortable and a cot was ready for our child, which we did not even ask for, so that was a great extra touch! We were also given trays to take our breakfast to our room, as we did not feel comfortable enough eating indoors at the restaurant with the covid numbers. The only downside was the room facing the street, due to us liking our windows open and the noise from the bar below us at night. Next time we know to ask for a room not facing the street. Overall this was an excellent stay!

A good choice
Older hotel but still very good. Decent sized rooms and a good breakfast. Well located right in the centre of town.

Excellent room & outstanding breakfast buffet
Just a one-night trip, but enjoyed the stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Have stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago, and will come back again in the future.

central convenient hotel
we.had two rooms. they were large comfortable and well appointed in typical Finnish style. Car parking was excellent and the hotel is in the center of the town. Breakfast was also excellent and good quality. The bar was not open but looked good

Comfortable hotel in the centre of the town.
We had an excellent stay. The hotel was very comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. We had particularly good meals in the restaurant in the evening.

I stayed in a room that was inexpensive due to it being above the nightclub. I was 2 floors above it, but had no issues regarding noise.

First night in Finland
First the hotel front was difficult to find because the front door is on a walking only street. This made finding the parking lot and reception difficult. However, the breakfast was good and the reception person was helpful. Still the hotel area of town is less than than vigorous and we upgraded our room on possibly incorrect hotel input. We did enjoy touring the fortress, enjoyed the dinner a few blocks away, and the walk by the lake.

Great hotel in a prime position
This is a great hotel to stay in - I insist on this accomodation every time I to work in Hämeenlinna. Situated right in the town centre with ample car parking, the location is ideal. It's obvious the staff enjoy working there and are happy, and this comes across in their excellent, friendly, and efficient service. The bar is almost English in its atmosphere which is particularly endearing to me. I've always recommended Hotel Cumulus to my working colleagues and they've never been disappointed. Many thanks to Terhi and her team for their excellent service.

The hotel is idealy located for the town centre, bars & restaurants. The other local attractions are within walking distance. The lack of coffee options at breakfast is disappointing, only filter coffee. It is above average in comparison to other hotels in Hameenlinna

Better overall than other hotels in Hameenlinna. However the bar and restaurant area is in need of renovation. Staff are helpful and friendly. Perfect centre town location for access to shops & restaurants. Rooms are acceptable and cleaned well. Pricey but this is normal in Finland. Breakfast could be improved if soft boiled eggs were available, not the best scrambled eggs I have eaten, but not the worst.

Recommended hotel
Conveniently located in the city center, the hotel met every expectation. The hotel's guest service was good, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast (included in the room price) was quite ample and delicious. We would recommend this hotel to fellow travelers to Hämeenlinna.

Beds were awful. Shower in corner of the bathroom was pitiful. Bathroom so tiny. Of course no shelf space. This really reminded me of some third world countries and I've been there so I know what I'm talking about. Terrible ripoff for the price. I can't believe that this is supposed to be the nicest hotel in a city of about 60,000!! When bathroom door was open, it blocked the door to the room. Breakfast was decent.

we had excellent help from the front desk. They spoke excellent english and I was happy to hear it. We also enjoyed having breakfast in the morning as there was so much to choose from. My husband and I each had what we wanted, which was great. The evening meals were very good and reasonable. A shower with doors and a heated towel bar were a plesent surprise.

Kokemus oli hyvä, kylpyhuone avara ja tilava suihkutila olisi voinut olla hieman isompi, kahdelle hengelle hieman ahdas. Käytävästä kantautui melua huoneeseen keskellä yötä johon heräsimme. Sänky oli mukava ja ilmastointi toimi hyvin huoneessa oli hyvä ilma. Ja huone oli yleisilmeeltään siisti. Henkareita olisi voinut olla enemmän. Aamupala ravintolassa oli maittava ja valikoima oli perustasoa. Nautimme vierailusta.

Hotellihuoneemme oli hiukan kulahtanut. Pöydänreunasta lohjennut palasia ja muutenkin vanhan oloinen mutta yhtä yötä varten kaikki tarpeellinen. Pubin henkilökunta vähän väsynyttä.
