Beautiful hotel in Hamburg!

We only stayed one night, but all of the staff were top-notch and there were several little touches that made our kids feel special (like child-sized robes and slippers). Highly recommend this property.

Great long weekend with family

Everything top, great choice of restaurants, nice SPA, friendly staff. In the bar they even made a Shirley Temple for our daughter who was really delighted that they have it in good old Germany. Location is quiet but still walking distance to all the action in Hamburg.

The property was amazing. The only issue in the entire stay was that all the lower level parking meters died for some reason, so be sure to take the ticket stub with you and pay with reception to avoid this inconvenience.

Family 1 night stay-over, really nice hotel.

We had a 1 night stay when travelling through the city. The hotel has a parking garage below the hotel with easy access elevator to lobby. We stayed in a family room which was clean and spacy. Tried room service and the roof top bar which both were really nice. In the morning after we took a taxi from the hotel (there are taxis waiting) to Miniature Wonderland, about a 10 minute drive for 15 euros. Spent time there for 2 hours then back, and since checkout is at noon we also had time to use the SPA pool the day after, located conveniently accessible so you can change in the room.

Beautiful Hotel, the first guy at the front desk was friendly, helpful, other front desk not too friendly. At breakfast time one lady is always watching you, what you eat, what you do, you feel like you’re doing something wrong when you get up to get your food, it’s a buffet, she came to us in a bad way to tell us , to do not use the glass cups to serve yogurt, because it’s going to be difficult for them to wash the glass. Check out, do it on time because you have to make a line and wait for your turn until they finish check ins. I won’t stay there any more, just for the unfruitful and unhappy staff.

Good but not 5* good

The hotel feels a bit 90s, well kept but dated. Service was ok. I arrived 8pm on Sunday and desperately needed a U.K. to EU converter to do some work. After being told they ran out because it’s so busy I went down to reception to double check and found multiple ones. We asked for a breakfast box only to find out it was forgotten about when we went to pick it up from reception in the morning. Gym is tiny for this size hotel, couldn’t find a single free machine had to come back at 9pm. No coffee/tea facilities in the room. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay, rooms were clean, beds comfy, location is good, breakfast was decent and service was friendly. But I would try other 5* hotels in Hamburg for rushing back.

In einem 5 – Sternehotel, darf es nicht passieren, dass ein Bad nicht ausreichend gereinigt ist. An der Toilettenbrille fanden sich noch deutliche Spuren vom vorherigen Gast. Beim Checkout wurde zwar gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung war. Bei der Erwähnung wurde aber überhaupt nicht darauf reagiert, sondern lediglich die Rechnung präsentiert.
