"I was hesitant after reading some of the previous complaints, but booked The Cove on a whim. I absolutely LOVED my stay. It was in a quite, safe neighborhood and we were able to walk anywhere that we needed to go! "We loved staying in a house built in the 1600s! It was like getting to sleep in a museum rather than a hotel. Also - the Continental Breakfast was more than we expected! "Run by the kindest people (and friendliest cats!) in all of Salem, and could not possibly be more centrally located! You can walk everywhere from here, and you have a front row seat to any events in the square - it's literally right across the street.
