"I don’t usually leave reviews. Came in for 5 days we are in are later 30s looking to relax and reset which was nice but there’s literally nothing to do here. Pool is small and everytime we went to the bar no one was there had to wait. Breakfast lunch and dinner were all in the same spot food was okay not many options and not any place to grab snacks or anything mid day. "Where do I start? On arrival there was no one at the front desk. Waited about 15 minutes, I received a key on a chain for my room. "We were a little sceptical about Galleon Beach Resort due to limited reviews but we did not regret booking. Upon arrival Talia showed us down to Sea Breeze - cottage number 10. She left a welcome sheet providing her mobile number incase we needed it, numbers of taxis etc. The cottage was beautiful with a living area with two small couches, a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge water cooler and 2 plate hob. "Rooms- B+ Resort- B+ Food - B Service - C The staff seem tired and slightly behind on everything. It was the end of their season before the rainy season and they seemed “done” with tourists. Not many smiles"

"Great resort for our older family. Very quiet, but with everything you need. Pool areas were great, but having access to Prickly Pear island really made this place standout. We did some off resort adventures, but our best days were on Prickly Pear and hanging by the pool. We had a 4 bedroom unit and it was perfect. Would stay here again if coming to Antigua. "

"Nestled into a quiet part of the country and good views of the sea. Room was nice and spacious, albeit a bit antiquated. Limited dining options next to the hotel so plan ahead. Kitchen requires you to plan a bit ahead for dinner, especially if its going to be late. I drove to the place so it was OK to get to and from the hotel but I can imagine would be difficult witha taxi. Staff was nice and accomodating."

"It was really special to stay in Nelson’s Dockyard. We stayed in the lofts and it was very relaxing. Only downside is the walls are paper thin (old building, I should have expected this) so bring ear plugs or a white noise machine if you’re a light sleeper! Restaurants were great at the hotel and the area is very walkable. There’s a complimentary boat to take you to Galleon Bay, which was a really nice beach."
