"The room was very well decorate, spacious, and clean. The staff was what made this a wonderful hotel. They went out of their way to make us feel right at home. They scheduled a taxi pickup and drop off from the airport, contacted a doctor to visit my sick daughter in the hotel, gave us advice on things to see in Tunis; plus many other things. The breakfast was fantastic. It is located in the medina and you can easily walk to all the sites. Definitely stay here if you visit Tunis."

"Dar Ya is in the middle of the medina. I do advise getting there in the daylight hours as it’s hard to find otherwise and a bit creepy. Staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Miriam for breakfast area, and Oumaima at reception and the daytime reception lady as well ( sorry I don’t know your name). Room was well heated and they turned heating down for me remotely for my comfort. Rooftop bar on the 6th floor had live music on Friday and their food was good, try their Mixed Grill for 58 Dinars (£16) . There’s a bar on the 1st floor (I didn’t try it) and the music was loud but I slept fine on...
