The brother and sister who run this place were very welcoming and even offered us breakfast even though we hadn’t requested breakfast. Very well kept and very safe

Top Lage und Preis-Leistung

Das Resort liegt super praktisch fuer Besichtigungen des kulturellen Dreiecks. Alles ist sehr gepflegt aber das Bild der Holzhuette irritiert. Wir hatten einen deluxe Bungalow und der ist ein gemauertes Doppelhaus. Leuder waren einige Ameiaen im Bettnaber die konnten wir schnell loswerden. Dusche ist opennair. Der Besitzer ist SUPER freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Fruehstueck (einheimisch) war eines der leckersten innerhalb von 2 Wochen Rundreise. Abendessen gab es im Dschungel bei Kerzenlicht. War ne Ueberraschung aber ganz witzig.

Kleinschalig resort in habarana

Wij zijn 1 nachtje in habarana gebleven. We werden hartelijk ontvangen met een ketting van witte bloemetjes en thee. Onze kamer was ruim met een goed matras, airco, warm water in de ruime douche. Er was een mini koelkastje , Wat erg handig is. 'S avonds een srilankaans gegeten. Lekker gegeten. We hadden hier 1 nachtje geboekt om naar Kaudulla nationaal park te gaan. Dat is echt een aanrader. Wij hadden deeigenaar gevraagd naar de jeepsafari. Dat koste 4500 roepie. Dasr komt entreegeld vor het park nog bij. Je betaald ook voor de chauffeur van de jeep. Srilankanen betalen zelf heel weinig, maar toeristen( foreigners) betalen veel meer. wij zijn om 1430 uur gegaan. Om 1500u begon onze jeep safari .Dat is zeker de moeite waard. Fantastisch! Wel 200 olifanten gezien.

Peaceful base for exploring the cultural heartland

We spent some great days in the resort. The owner and his family were very welcoming, accomodating and immensly helpful in organizing trips to the major sights nearby (Sigiriya, Kaudulla, Polonnaruwa, Ritigala, Dambulla). The atmosphere in the resort is very relaxing and personal and the food was superb. Would definitely recommebd to stay there!
