"Everything we would expect from a hotel of this type. Clean, helpful staff, excellent dinner and breakfast, good beer, easy to park, windows that opened to let in freash air. Just great.
Kedgeree for breakfast a particular delight.

"We stayed for a wedding just outside of the village and it was just perfect. The lady on reception last Saturday (17thOct) in the afternoon /evening was great, so informative and took our photo no problem. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back. The radio in the room was also a nice touch instead of a tv. Thank you."

"Check in was easy and the staff were very considerate and helpful to inform you of the hotel and where your room was. The rooms are modern and clean which is great. Some small complaints though. The rooms can be very cold and my radiator didn't seem to work. Additionally, this wasnt helped by the fact the shower only seemed to get warm not hot.
During my stay there was also no mention by staff of there being a function being on the first floor (the rooms back onto the function room on this...
