"We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The mansion is beautiful with so much history and our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The bath was wonderful especially with a fireplace right there. We ate at the restaurant which was incredible- had the two tasting menus which was so fun and highly recommended. Parking is a breeze. But would have to say the best part was the lovely gentleman that checked us in as he’s a gem! Would highly recommend staying at...
"Lovely, bright, quaint space on a quiet street within easy walking distance of King Street. Hosts were very attentive and quick to communicate. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!"
"Wow, everyone from front desk to valet to room cleaning were friendly and helpful. Lots of smiles and attention to their visitors. The nicest hotel I have stayed in in years."
"First visit to a Town & Country Inn & Suites; an attractive and well maintained property. Very clean and orderly. Front dest staff excellent. Only comment - for me the pillows were awful! Too soft."
"Close to everything and plenty of perks with free snacks in room and lounge. Rooftop terrace has amazing views and a great spot to relax. The free drinks and appetizers from 4-5 is also a great perk. The day we were there we were so busy touring the town we missed lunch, the free bacon wrapped chicken bites hit the spot. Additionally the free breakfast was fantastic, far above what you’ll get at a normal continental breakfast. First day we were there it was eggs Benedict. "
"We loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is “free” offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. When I got there I found out that parking was in fact not free, but $1 per 20 minutes with a maximum of $24. I was willing to pay this, but was disappointed because I...
"The Iris was exactly what I needed, except maybe the car carousel. Technically, my vehicle fits on the SUV carousel, but not really. That was frustrating, especially since I slightly damaged my door. User error.
The location of The Iris is perfect. Just off the highway and a few blocks from the famous King Street. This is downtown/old town Charleston, so you might feel a little uneasy if you aren't familiar with being downtown in a city. However, The Iris has its own tall gate system that...
"The Spectator was everything I imagined and MORE! The amenities (refillable snacks, butler service, bikes) made my experience feel so special and comfortable. It was unlike anything I had ever experienced! It was my 3rd summer in Charleston, and out of all the places I've stayed at, this one BY FAR takes the cake!!!"
"Our stay at Zero George was perfect. Loved the location, and the service was impeccable. Two nights felt like four. We hope to stay again next year. "
"Loved this place !! It had everything…great location, beautiful old mansion, clean comfortable rooms and an amazing staff!! This was our first visit to Charleston and we experienced southern hospitality at its best!! We would 100% stay here again!! "
"From the front desks, concierge, valet, restaurants employess...everyone was amazing. We booked a 1br and were instantly upgraded to a 2bd, which was perfect for a spa weekend w/my bestie. Plush robes and cozy beds were amazing. The restaurant had great food and service. The hotel was so nice, we rarely left...i would definitely stay here again and again. I wish i could remember everyones name, because its was definitely 5star service across the board"
