Had a 2 week stay at this hotel and from the moment we arrived it was amazing. Staff are very friendly, attentive and professional. All the food in the hotel (and believe me we tried pretty much all of it) was brilliant. Short walk along the beach to Bophut Fishing village with more bars, restaurants and shops. Only negative was that the holiday ended too early. Would definitely go back.

This is a magical place that really lets you escape and unwind. The setting is one of the most dramatic I've experienced (only topped by Sugar Beach in St Lucia) - the villas and communal buildings dotted on a steep jungle mountainside that drops down to a secluded fine sandy beach. Fabulous stay as always , it’s our 7 th time at the Chatrium. Beautiful room - 1 bedroomed suite with fantastic river views. Breakfast is first class. Service brilliant. Wonderful staff. Friendly, attentive and helpful.

What a place! The location is high up on a mountain with amazing views. You are given round the clock usage of private cars which the drivers take you where you want to go, mostlyis courtsey. Each villa is individual and all with traditional Thai decor. We stayed in Camellia villa which has fantastic ocean views and it’s own plunge pool. We picked Peppercorn beach because of the great reviews and isolated location. We weren't disappointed - it was a wonderful place to kick back and relax. The staff are really sweet and seem focussed on making sure you are enjoying yourself, they really go the extra mile. We stayed for 11 days in a sea view villa April 2016 for my sons wedding . Really good hotel, facilities and grounds are very well thought out and the staff were always very welcoming, with excellent service. Very relaxing place to be and they make it easy, helped by spacious layout of things like sunbeds and the large very nice pool facilities and beach facilities/ activiites. Very good standard of food in 2 restaurants (not cheap though) and we looked forward to their comprehensive breakfast...

Enjoyed my stay here thoroughly, and the staff were incredibly helpful whenever it was needed. They have a great view from the beach, breakfast is delicious, the cooking class was really great fun and the private villas are incredible if you want to enjoy the privacy of waking up to your own swimming pool. Have just spent a week in a tropical pool villa at this new resort. It is a truly 5 star experience. A personal butler attends to your every need (Max: you were outstanding). Excellent stay. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and their attention to detail was fabulous. Loved the decor of the property. It was traditional, with the bamboo and wood decor, gives the place a zen like feeling. Best part was the location of the hotel and the way it is designed. Even though we were in the busy part of chaweng we never felt like it. It was very calm and peaceful. The beach was excellent, only issue was that there was some patches of dirt. I researched all hotels on Koh Samui before booking this hotel. I was not disappointed. Everything you could possibly want is provided. The staff anticipate anything else & have a genuine desire to make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. I have stayed in some super hotels but this surpasses all of them.

Slow checked in procedure. Fortunately, Staff service was good.

Great staff, they offer to transfer me from the bus terminal to the Hotel. The hotel is near the beach and nearby area have many options for entertainment.

Lovely modern room. Very clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Had view of pool and sea. Stayed in 6 hotels whilst in Thailand on this trip (all 4*) and this was the best by far....very friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. Great choices for lunch and dinner. Had happy hours throughout the day which we took advantage of....highly recommend.

My wife and I booked a last minute deal inc flights and we were very pleased with the outrigger. The hotel was great and had just 59 villas with no high rise which we do not like. Amazing pools, swim up bar and its own beach. The staff were amazing - particularly Rory and Jeffrey who went out of their way to make you comfortable. Free drinks with the management every Wednesday was one of the many nice touches. Definitely returning to this place next year. Peaceful and tranquil yet only 10...
