"Lovely clean hotel, staff friendly, lovely roof top pool area with bar, that does snacks, ask at reception for towel to use at pool. Great location main bus depo 8mins walk. Bus from Arrecife airport 10mins to depo. and €1.40. Stayed half board, very happy with choice for food, food was good. LargeTV with access to netflix. Gym on roof top as well, didnt use. Open mall 25mins walk away."

"I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. "Although not particularly fancy, the hotel is quite nice but most importantly, the staff is very kind and helpful. I enjoyed my 5 night solo stay very much as Famara beach is only 15 mins drive, if you’re into surfing."
