First time actually “staying” at the Winter Inn. The accommodations were great for the money. Staff was very nice and helpful. Couldn’t rave more about them, with exception of one of the bartenders, who was not very welcoming or friendly. Would definitely stay again!

We stay here every year for an event that we attend. The rooms are clean, nice and the location is perfect for us. The restaurant has amazing food. The continental breaskfast is what you would expect. The only negative is that it is over a bar and the music can be a little loud, but we are usually so exhausted that it doesn't really affect us!

All the staff that we encountered on this visit were very friendly and helpful. The old building was amazing. I felt like I went back in time when I went up to my room. The wood detail in the bar area was fantastic. I will definitely go back again.

Beds were great. Pillows too. We were in the suite. Two tvs and three beds. All three of us were very happy with the beds. The only issue was the bass from the bar. I should’ve read the reviews more closely. However, with the fan on high and ear plugs, it drowned the noise out enough to get some good rest. I just wish it was a whisky bar instead of a sports bar.

Return visit after 3 or 4 years, many upgrades to rooms. Pub and restaurant are still great. Problems this trip with the television (Direct TV) lack of channels, intermittent sound and reception. Hopefully the next upgrade on the list.

It is a very nice and historical building. Lots of history that the staff is ready to tell you about. Nice rooms quaint and cozy. The restaurant and bar right there make it very easy to get a good meal or have a late night drink. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our 2 night stay. I will give one caveat ... On Friday night there was a DJ and the music was a bit loud until around midnight so if you stay on a night the DJ is in the bar it may be disturbing for a bit. Saturday night just the jukebox was on and wasn't too loud to sleep. Over-all a very nice place

Was locked in the bathroom for over an hour because the lock set was defective. Had to take the towel bar apart and force my way out of the bathroom. Hotel has no attendant after bar closes at 2am. Would never go back. I did not feel safe the way the hotel was run. One and done for me.

Don't stay here if you have a trailer because the parking lot is big enough for a vehicle only. It has a nice restaurant and bar below the hotel which is very busy. When I check in, I mentioned that I had to park on the street. The clerk told me that the city might tow my vehicle because they had done it to past customers. There are no signs say no parking over night or anything else. I was told to come done later and take up a couple of spots. 11pm and the lot was still full. Tired, I took the chance and left the vehicle and trailer on the road. I was glad if was there the next morning.

This hstoric hotel, with onsite restaurant and bar is a true gem. Excellent staff. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Close to good food and shopping. Greenville has turned out to be great stop on our travels.
