But unfortunately the first room we were placed in had a funky smell and after a few days of it not going away my wife was getting a headache and we also noticed there was mold on the walls of the bathroom and peeling wall paper with some water damage. "Hotel Villa Paradiso was a beautiful and charming hotel set right on the edge of Taormina. It was very accessible to the park and nature reserve. It was a 4 minute walk to Corso Umberto and only 10 minutes to the amphitheater. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very polite and helpful."
