Further to your remarks we would like to mention concerning your reservation that you have probably seen on the site the superior maizonette with the kitchenette inside while your reservation was for simple maizonette. Since we have no other details describing your reservation we can not check it thoroughly although we believe that if you had been in contact with the front office they would have explained for sure and perhaps that is the reason you call our front office ufriendly? We are sorry for the inconvinnience but we tend to believe that you made the wrong reservation from the start. Concerning food most of our customers are very happy about it although we can not dispute or disagree as it is personal taste.We can reassure you though that our food is certified and fresh/ no left overs! We are glad that you anjoyed our beach at least which is indeed wonderful! Nevertheless next time you are coming you can directly contact us and certify that you have it all right! Dear Amir, First of all, we would like to thank you for choosing our hotel for your summer vacations and for taking your time to post your experience in Porto Platanias. We would like to apologize for all the inconveniences that you mention in your comment. We would like though to inform you the following. Our hotel is located in the heart of Platanias resort which is the most well known resort in the West Crete. Moreover, Crete island is the biggest of Greece and it is reasonable that the distances are not always close. Our hotel has a central location in Platanias and it is only few kilometers away from Hania city center. The airport is around 25 km away. Moreover, the sun beds at the beach have an extra cost for our guests because we rent this area from the municipality of Platanias. The towels for the pool or the beach are provided with a deposit. Also let us mention that our sun beds around our 9 pools are more than 600! We understand though your complaint that some guests disobey our rules that sun beds are not allowed to be reserved but as far as you know we have informative signs all around the pools and our staff remove the towels when noone is present. Last but not least, we wish we knew your inconvenience with the room location during your stay in order to help you and change the room for you. We always remain at your disposal.
