Staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunatly the cabin was extremely gross and we left right after arriving and stayed at a different place. It is important to understand you get what you pay for the rooms are cheap for a reason.

Our room appeared to be an accessible queen bed room. Oddly the bathroom was nearly 40% of the size of the total room, although there was no bidet or soaking tub to use the extra space, just a standard small tub/shower on one side and a short walk across the room was the toilet. The grounds and exterior of the hotel were nicely appointed and well-kept, but the room itself was fairly spartan with a bed, dresser, bedside tables, a large areas of empty space. Would encourage filling rooms with antiques or additional furniture. Nice that they served breakfast, but no apparent vegan options, other than whole fresh fruit.

This was a lovely hotel in the beginning! It’s too nice and it’s a rare setting to be let go. Our room was perfectly clean, but I stepped outside and almost tripped over a tree stump. I could have been badly injured. The parking was close, thank you for your great service.

The lodging is in an absolutely beautiful, peaceful setting, with a historic train car on the property, complete with narrative to read, and surrounded by a variety of pines & firs & other mountain greenery. The staff was helpful, especially with regard to finding places in the historic small city. Unfortunately, the room we were in was not in the best repair, with a shaggy shower curtain & a closet where the bottom of the door was not attached to the floor. Looked like it could use some touch up painting as well. If I were to go there again, I think I would check the room first & ask for another if it was not up to par!

Very pretty and relaxing property. Surrouding grounds and waterfall are great. Despite being right next to the highway, the room was very quiet. The registration desk was a little tricky to find, due to lack of directions by Expedia in the property description. There was a lack of trash bins around the property - saw a good amount of trash on the property grounds. The room itself was very clean and accomodating. Always nice to have a fridge and mircowave. No lotion, hair dryer or tissue box offered in room, which was disappointing. Didn't get a chance to try the on-site restaurant. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The room was nice and updated. The bedding clean and neatly made. Some crumbs on the carpet, food in the refrigerator. Bathroom and sink area were clean and shiny. The staff were very nice and friendly. Beautiful location and setting, however, it needs some landscape attention. At one time it must have been awesome, they may just be working on making it beautiful again. I would stay there again. Lovely place

Stayed here recently and had a pretty good experience overall. The room was comfy, spacious, and relaxing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful the entire stay. The only issue was the bathroom cleanliness, which could have been better, and the soap and shampoo in the shower seemed watered down. Aside from that, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I’d consider staying again.

There was no screen in the bathroom window, and the room looked a little beat up - cracked tiles, dents and holes in the walls, squeaky bed. Grounds were definitely on the low maintenance side of things. Staff were friendly.
