the host is lovely but is not aware of bookings made through this platform. We had luck and she and a room were available. The stay was great, however a bit cold in the winter.

Great place!

This place is perfect for a stop on the Panoramic Road. Very calm and clean. As for the direction, we had some difficulties to find the adress, as there are 2 places with the same street number, but we finally found it. The owner was not here but the intendant was very nice and welcoming

Very simple, low budget pension. comfortable beds, very loveley owner, absolutely supportive. However, low comfort level. One of the both rooms we had smelled like cats… nothing for anybody who love to stay in any kind of luxury locations ;-)

We enjoyed our stay at this property however there were a couple of issues. When we tried to check in, we were told they had no record of our reservation via Expedia, so confirm before you arrive. Luckily the manager was home and we were able to stay there because there were rooms available. The rooms were nicely decorated and there was a pretty garden. There was some construction in the neighbourhood which was a bit noisy until 9pm. overall great value for money and we enjoyed our stay.

We had one small glitch. I reserved the room the night before and the lady manager didn't get the message that we were coming. Since she stayed in the property, we got in with her return. She was exceptional friendly. The location was perfect for our trip to the Panoramic Route. The beautiful garden is as other described. The bed faces the garden and we felt so relaxed once we got in. No TV. Wifi is slow. But you can't beat the cost, convenience of location, safety and wonderful staff. She got up at 5 am to let us out of the gate. It was over 4 hours and we were back in Johannesburg and made our flight out at noon.

The room was a little shabby, dark, smelly. The guesthouse as total is really nice. Very friendly host but unfortunately she is underpaid by the owner- she deserves more and is lovely and very trustworthy.

The property had a nice garden area. The bad: 1. They lost our reservation. I had to show them the confirmation 3 times and they allowed us to stay. 2. No water at all in the shower. 3. Only cold water in the tub and dink. 4. Overnight the running water stopped completely. 5. This "B&B" did not provide breakfast. 6. No coffee in the in room coffee service. Only sugar. 7. No windows or any provision for ventilation in the room. Made for a hot stuffy night. 8. Had to chase down the manager to unlock the gate so we could leave in the morning.

Avevano oltre la nostra prenotazione di una notte un’altra prenotazione di 2 notti per altri ospiti. Abbiamo fatto il check in per primi e ci hanno assegnato le camere. Dopo 5 minuti sono arrivati gli altri ospiti e hanno verificato che la nostra prenotazione non l’avevano registrare cui ci hanno spostato in una camera usata da loro senza alcun servizio e totalmente diversa da quella prenotata. Il proprietario è stato contattato e non se ne è interessato. Uno schifo!

Good affordable place to stay. The internet needs improvement. A good internet access is critical to travellers. The net is not available from the rooms which should be a rather easy fix nowadays. Also the owner seemed concerned about leaving it on continuously as it was mostly off.
