"Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit. "

"We were traveling with our dog and were looking for a place that allowed pets - when I found this place, saw it was so close to the main downtown area, and realized how reasonable the prices were, I booked it immediately. We were so happy with our room and the service provided by Nate, the owner. Our room (#4) was huge and had a full kitchen - we only stayed one night so we didn't get to take full advantage of that other than to stash our leftovers in the fridge. We will definitely stay here...

"Exceptionally accommodating staff in historic building, but remember that all rooms are on the second floor, reached only by a long and narrow staircase that limits access for mobility challenged senlors. "
