Budget hotel ok for money, maybe can park near

Hotel was reasonable value, the reception is partly co run with the normal ibis across the car park. Parking is 12chf reduced from 20chf if validate through hotel before leave. We just walked 200m past bridge from the nearby free parking (only few spaces) as this hotel is in suburb type area. Nice breakfast across road in normal ibis hotel

Great staff! Comfortable room, great shower but on the smaller size at the ibis budget. Perhaps book at the ibis across the street for a bit more room. A bit bummed when I realise I had to pay for parking, everything in Switzerland does costs something no matter if you are staying close to the city centre or farther out.

Didn’t let us check in an hour early so we waited in the lobby. Booked 2 rooms for 6 person. Room was too tight and small, can’t even open a large suitcase unless you put it on your bed. Breakfast is good. No kettle, no hairdryer (you have to borrow one from the other ibis). No fridge, microwave is downstairs. Bus stop is not too far. Not much restaurant around the area. There’s a grocery store which is probably 10 minutes walk.

For two the room was a good size, the shower was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Staff were all really friendly. The continental breakfast was lovely, a good selection of pastries, meats, cheese and cereals. The coffee was decent too. Disappointed on our last morning we were told breakfast opens at 06:15, we waiting to 06:30 and still not open and unfortunately we had to leave for our flight. There are no immediate amenities in the area if you are going to be out of the hotel all day. Everything was shut by the time we arrived back in the evenings. It’s a shame as the hotel was really lovely!

Great quality budget hotel and within walking distance of the Ice Hockey arena (5 minutes!). Shared facilities between the Ibis Budget and its sister hotel next door. Staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. Pros: Great location for the ice hockey and local transport link via the number 1 bus every 15 minutes for 3 CHF. Rooms clean and tidy - bedding fresh and comfortable Very friendly staff and happy to speak in English Great bar service in the Ibis next door Cons: Limited facilities in the room (but it is budget for a reason!) No hair dryer, iron, tea/coffee station, shower gel Vending machines very limited no snacks or drinks in the budget hotel and no vending machine in the Ibis next door although they do have a fridge with takeaway drinks
