This was our second year returning to the Cliff dweller. Looking forward to next year as well. Views of Lake Superior from our small deck each year are great!

This was a most excellent stay for three nights! Every room has a balcony facing Lake Superior, so you get to see the sunrise! One thing to note about the location is that you have to travel a bit to find restaurants. The sister restaurant that is advertised with 10% off the meal is a long way from the hotel and we did not find it advantageous to go there after the first night. The best restaurant we experienced was the Coho Cafe and Bakery in Tofte. Small restaurant, but really great food!

We got to stay in a room next to Lake Superior and we had a balcony were we could watch the sunrise. Very beautiful. Only a couple of minutes from Oberg Mountain. FYI they do not serve a full breakfast so plan accordingly!

Nice room, simple but clean. Overlooking the lake which was a great bonus! Breakfast was minimal but had some protein items included. It's a beautiful area with lots to see and do!

The whole stay was what we expected. The accommodations were good. The price was on the fair side. Little rustic in a few spots, but other than that, I will definitely be rebooking and returning to stay there again. The staff when we talked to them were phenomenal very polite very informative very pleasant.

Excellent stay in a cozy, but well appointed ground floor room which overlooked the lake. Clean bathroom & comfortable bed. As others have said every footstep can be heard from the above rooms, but this did not spoil our stay. View to the lake in the lower rooms is obscured by trees.

An ideal location, with a fabulous view of Lake Superior. Large decks on every room, really relaxing. The hotel is a bit outdated, the keycard readers were hit and miss, the front desk is not well staffed, but it was an enjoyable stay. There is a light breakfast in the morning, nothing to write home about. We did have an eagle fly past the deck multiple times each day, that was amazing! I recommend staying if you are looking for a low key weekend with a fabulous view.
