"The bar staff need some serious training, terrible service on Saturday evening , staff looked like university students clueless and zero customer service The room was ok, lots of fluff and dust under the bed, no I didn't deliberately check, I dropped something and saw it, the shower cubicle needs a good scrub too! And no fridge in the room!"

"The hotel was ideal for us as only 30 minutes or so to Goodwood. Good value accommodation. Very helpful staff and the Restaurant food was first rate. Also worth a mention was the Bar where the staff and clientele were so welcoming it reminded us of the bar in 'Cheers'!"

"Absolute amazing place to stay and the staff were so so friendly, always smiling, in a good mood and happy to help. The breakfast selection was brilliant from cereal to croissants to eggs benedict royale. Room was extremely clean on 1st inspection and was continued throughout the stay by the maids. Bar was awesome too. Dedicated parking too which was very helpful and not like other properties in area. We will definitely be staying here again 100%"

"Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, befindet sich aber in einer schönen grünen ruhigen Umgebung. WLAN funktioniert prima. Ich fand das Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen im Zimmer super, da ich zur Uni-Entlassungsfeier musste und meine Kleidung vorher auf Vordermann bringen konnte. Die Mitarbeiter sind top, beim Frühstück ist insbesondere das große warme Angebot zu erwähnen. Pool/Wellness habe ich nicht genutzt. Ich würde wieder hinfahren."

"This was by far one of the best inn rooms I have slept in for years. The bed was big and comfortable with a great mattress topper, two big wide windows for air. There was both a bath and a shower and both were clean. Tv and great coffee machine with plenty of milk and sugar with milk alternatives if needed. The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to help with any request. The food was lovely in both dinner and the following lunch. The bar/restaurant has loads of windows and tables in...

"First appearances are good. The location is great. But everything is a bit tired. The hotel needs money spending on decoration, maintenance and a few more staff. Dinner service was glacially slow and the food quality was adequate, at best."
