This hotel has been run by the same family since the 1930s and their dedication to hospitality shines through. The food in the restaurant is extraordinary and is prepared with love. "This is a great little spot. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and very generous. A few things id not before booking. The bathroom is quite small, so if you want to change privately, it might be difficult to do so. They also didn't have shampoo or conditioner, but once I asked for some, the hosts were very accommodating - perhaps giving me some from their own bathroom! Overall a wonderful stay and would recommend!!"

"A good basic hotel for the price paid. Staff were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately stayed on a very warm evening and rooms had no aircon or fans available making sleeping almost impossible. Rooms pretty basic but clean and well maintained."

"Need air conditioners! I do understand it is Ireland and it’s not usually this hot , but with climate changing, it was very uncomfortable in the room in at night. Windows were open street noise was very loud. Everything else was fantastic, but it was way too hot, and I’m from Florida where it is always hot."

"The hotel runs with the efficiency of a well-oiled machine. The staff are polite and very attentive while the food is to a very high standard overall. Our room was cosy and clean, although the absence of a lift can prove problematic for anyone with a disability. Well located, the hotel affords easy access to the surrounding area. Overall, the hotel exudes a homely feel, offering good food, attentive service and comfortable accommodation."

"Unbeatable place, views are amazing, only problem is there's no AC and that wouldn't be an issue if there were mosquito windows nets, you are in the middle of the woods and there's mosquitos everywhere the room get super hot bc u can't open a single window at night, also there's no lobby restroom or any other restroom besides your room I understand this is not a typical hotel but the property is huge so you could definitely fit one."

"We were traveling with two adults and two teenagers and were a bit nervous about staying over a popular pub. It turned out to be the absolute decision we could have made. We had a room with a double bed and two twins, which was perfect for our family. The pub isn't so loud that it bothers you while you are in your room - the only thing we had was a bit of street noice, but that's par for the course. The food in the pub is great too! The center location couldn't have been better - there is street...
