Luxurious hotel right in the heart of Gouda. Extremely clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Winter buffet breakfast at 15€ each excellent value for a wide selection of high quality food.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The town is just quaint and friendly. I would definitely visit this town. If you are in the area it was one of my favorite places in the Netherlands.

Unusual, quirky hotel with touches of luxury.

This charming, small hotel was located close to the beautiful center of Gouda, and featured a Michelin star restaurant, which was outstanding. The rooms are modern, with unique features and decor. The staff was extremely helpful with all of our questions, friendly, and kind. I highly recommend this unique hotel.

Such a beautiful quaint hotel. Staff were so helpful. We rented free bikes to explore the city. Beautiful large outdoor area to have lunch/ afternoon tea. Highly recommend. The Michelin star restaurant was also fabulous to experience. Our room was a standard double which had everything we needed.

It was a wonderful stay. The location is top. Right in the center of Gauda. We did not use the restaurant but it looked very nice. Parking was available in front of the hotel at 35 EUR or 500 m from the hotel at 25 EUR.

The pictures do not show the true beauty of this hotel. It is truly unique and individual. Very comfortable rooms. Very spacious especially the bathroom. Fantastic outstanding breakfast !! They really go over and beyond to make you feel special. This is a very special hotel.

It’s a fantastic hotel. The rooms are comfortable and a bit quirky given that it’s a very old building. Some rooms have a staircase separating the living and sleeping areas. Location is perfect with a short walk to the market and many restaurants with terraces and of course shops. I only had breakfast and it’s very good. The staff is super friendly.

Oddly nice

To get to the elevator you need to walk through the dining room and the kitchen (literally through the kitchen) which was very odd. The hotel was very clean, the rooms very nice and cosy and the staff very friendly. The place is a bit spooky, especially if you consider that it is an old orphanage, but nothing to worry about
