Only one person was helpful. There was no soap in the shower, I had to go downstairs at 10:30pm to get it while my wife was in the shower. They advertise laundry but all they offer is a laundry service. Parking was a nightmare, could not get into parking because the desk clerk took down the wrong plate number, they did fix this. I would NOT stay again or recommend this hotel.

Stuffy nights…

Would recommend without hesitation if not for noise. Noise from construction outside actually also Sundays. Air inside room warm. Could not adjust temp, reception only offered fan, and we also could not open window in the night due to noise. So hot and stuffy nights… Might help if you get a room facing away from construction site. Chose Scandic Europe due to connection to Nordstan shopping centre. It seems to be in same huge building complex. Parking in Nordstan convenient and cheap compared to many other places in town. Plan was to reach main street «Avenyn» and Haga. So in retrospect might have chosen a hotel on the other end of Avenyn, like Gothia Towers.

This hotel was clean and the staff provided good service. The location is very convenient. I’ve stayed at several hotels of the same class in Scandinavia, but the breakfast here wasn't very good. It was disappointing that the view from the window was of the shopping mall escalators, but the interior of the room was lovely.

hotellet var fullbooket, og det virket som om dette kom overraskende på noen. Frokosten gikk tom for mat, tallerkener, bestikk og alt som var. ikke mulig å få påfyll av brød, for det var helt tomt. de ansatte jobbet for harde livet, ikke deres skyld - men her virket det som om noen hadde glemt å planlegge innkjøp for et fullbooket hotell.

Nice centrally located hotel. Amazing breakfast

Hotel was extremely busy when we arrived and staff did well to ensure that guest satisfaction levels were maintained to a very good level. Breakfast was amazing, both choice and quality. Great location, close to central station with a good array of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.
