A Memorable trip

Fantastic location, especially convenient for visiting Liseberg Park. It's also within easy walking distance of the Universeum, the Museum of World Culture, and the Gothenburg Museum of Art. The interior design is stylish and thoughtfully curated. Breakfast was quite crowded, but that's understandable given the peak summer holiday season.

We loved our family room! Our room was perfect for our family (2 kids and 2 adults). The beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The decor throughout the hotel was beautiful. My girls loved taking the slide. Breakfast was yummy, very busy, but the restaurant is staffed well. The location was perfect for us. It’s so easy to hop on the metro. We were there when it was hot. It would have been nice to have a pool. We would totally stay there again.

We were in Gothenburg for the Gothia Soccer Tournament and really scored on our choice of location for never having been there. This was right at the doors of the amusement park and had easy access to public transportation. We were perfectly located to travel to the many venues for the games. Great breakfast and lots for kids to do. Would recommend for families and stay there again if we are able to return to the soccer tournament. My only complaint was the lack of access to laundry as it was costly and not convenient which made our room pretty smelly after a week of visiting.

Good Hotel

I continually saw the online check-in option, but for some reason, the site failed to save my details. Upon my arrival, there was a long line, and it took a while to check in, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. She went over the amenities and the breakfast and parking procedures. The complimentary breakfast was part of the hotel rate, but the parking fee of over €40.00 seemed a bit pricey.

Staycation with grandkid!

Liseberg Grand Curiosa is a very classy hotel! The staff is super friendly, positive, helpful, so busy and lots of kids and still all smiles! I’d stay here even without kids, for the comfy rooms, large bathroom, nice view, amazing breakfast (although a bit crazy busy…) For kids up to say 6-7 it’s wonderful! It’s right next door to Liseberg, there is a slide inside (free) movie, merry go round, simply wow! But the stmosphere is also very elegant and a bit fantasy… well done! I’ll come back! Perhaps hen there is a bit fewer people…:)

Everything was great except that house keeping did not clean our room first day of stay. When talking to reception, house keeping replied we had put up the sign that we did not want cleaning, which was incorrect, but they fixed it eventually.

Das Hotel ist wirklich außergewöhnlich. Es gibt so viel zu entdecken. Jeder Flur sieht anders aus, die Dachterrasse ist toll. Alles ist neu und hochwertig. Ein Parkhaus ist in direkter Nähe, wenn auch hochpreisig. Die Straßenbahn fährt direkt vor der Tür, man kommt sehr schnell ins Stadtzentrum. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen.

Room was clean and lovely. Staff were polite and vaguely friendly but not very welcoming. Stayed for 10 days and felt more like we were a slight inconvenience rather than valued guests. Children were told off for being noisy on the slide when it wasn't them and I was given an eye roll by the member of staff for believing them. Either way I feel like if you have a slide and carousel in your hotel kids might get a bit excited. Incredible hotel but first one I haven't felt special in.
