A very pleasant stay. Room was comfortable with ample space for two. Bonus of a kitchenette area. Staff were always very polite, friendly and helpful as needed. Food was standard continental fare that did the job well.

Central location, excellent breakfast buffet with lots of choice and variety, different hot options available on different days. Fika was a lovely bonus and flexible timings of 3-5pm meant it was easy to make most of it. Dinner was good, only one hot option but salad bar, soup and bread added variety.

We would stay again in a heart beat! The location was great - just a couple of blocks from the train station. Having dinner and Fika, in addition to breakfast, made the logistics of our stay easy and was a great value. The dinner wasn't over the top great, but was a decent meal - okay tasting with an okay selection. The value for what you got was great. The laundry was free to use (you pay for soap), but you do need to book a time, but was great to have after traveling for several weeks and being in Gothenburg for 4 or 5 nights. Our room did face the rail yard, but the noise was never an issue when we had the windows closed. We stayed during the Gothia Cup and the location made it super easy to get to all the events and games. We can't recommend enough.

Great location near the central train station and right next to a supermarket. Food was pretty good. Access to gym and self service laundry facilities was excellent. The room was decent but very basic. Top bunk bed in family room has no ladder so requires quite a bit of climbing.

Excellent vegan options

Very nice hotel - calm and peaceful even though it is very central and near the train station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We were very pleasantly surprised that there was a fully vegan dinner option that was incredibly tasty (and the bread was some of the best I've ever had). Breakfast also had a good range of vegan options.

Close to Central Train Station which is main reason we chose it. The evening meal and breakfast, included in price, were excellent. Plenty of choice and all hot. Great check in experience and the room was clean and comfy but lacked 'charisma' overlooking the inside of the hotel. Kitchen facilities in the room took us by surprise. Though you needed to rent the pots and pams if intended to use.

Hotel Odin was a good choice for Gothenburg, price included Breakfast, Fika & dinner. Breakfast had a variety for everyone, dinner is a set meal changed each day with a menu board at front desk to tell you what it is. If you didn't like it then you didn't have much choice but to eat out this was fine for me as I never actually planned to have dinner at the hotel. I had a superior room which was spacious, could be slightly updated in certain areas but no issues overall with it. My only slight negative would be that prior to staying I read that kitchen equipment would be provided free of charge for stays over 5 nights or a 300 krona charge if you wanted it. I assumed this would mean pots, pans and general cooking equipment but it meant everything. The room has no glasses, no plates, bowls, no cutlery, I think some cutlery is the bare minimum that should be provided even free of charge and in the end I had to go take some from the hotel dining area.

Loved this hotel stay. The complimentary food was good quality with plenty of choices. The staff were all professional, approachable and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The sliding mirror door was missing from the wardrobe in one of our rooms but we used the mirror in the bathroom instead. The complimentary gym was good too. It was easy to find the hotel and a good location, just a 5 minute walk from the Central Train Station, Bus Station and Tram Stops. We would stay at this hotel again if we returned to Gothenburg, and we are now looking at booking with this hotel chain for future trips to Scandinavia. Highly recommended!
