Apart from the first night when I could not sleep until 2 am in the morning because of very loud music above me (29th floor room) the other three nights were very enjoyable. This is a lovely hotel with great amenities (note the Spa is not included), a very decent breakfast and very friendly staff. The staff at the breakfast have been absolutely amazing and super efficient!

We had a nice stay, the staff were very friendly. There were different seating times for the buffet breakfast and they suggest you stay for about 45 minutes which felt a bit rushed. The wi-fi didn’t work in our hotel room until we asked reception, there was a workaround but I wish they had told us that to begin with. They have partnered with a gym next door and you can get a pass to use it (free of charge). Overall it was a nice stay, pretty central and easy to get around.

I stayed in two Clarion hotels on this trip and this one by far was the best one. The bed was extremely comfortable. Room was a great temperature, location was fantastic and the rooftop bar was great! My shower drain did clog but they came up and fixed it right away! Great stay!

Excellent stay at this property. Staff were very helpful especially the staff at Heurlins. Both the waiting staff and chef were excellent at helping with options for a meal excluding my food allergies. Great location with the Tram stops outside to travel through the city. WiFi in room was great. Would definitely return to this property.

All in all, it’s a great place. The decor is wonderful and the initial vibe is great. It seems to be hugely attractive to the younger generations looking to party. The communal toilets in the lobby/lounge area get pretty grim. And the music they play in the evening reminded me of nights out on e bombs 20 years ago. Heavy techno and not really easy to chill out to. I’m not a dinosaur by any means, but I wasn’t looking to grind my teeth over a glass of wine in the lounge. My wife and I got up and went somewhere else, which was a shame because it was a lovely setting otherwise. Setting aside the toilet scene and the music selection, I can’t complain at all about the hotel.

High quality hotel with excellent breakfast and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well decorated. The view from our room on 27th floor was amazing. The location is good with plenty of local restaurants and a short tram ride to the city centre. Bedroom was small with no storage for clothes - only a hanging rail above the mini bar. Cleaning was irregular - some days the room was not cleaned. Shower water did not drain away some days, flooding the bathroom.

We had an amazing stay at Clarion Hotel Draken in Gothenburg! The hotel is modern, stylish, and in a fantastic location with easy access to the city’s main attractions. The rooms were incredibly spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. One of the highlights was the spectacular rooftop restaurant and bar, offering breathtaking views over Gothenburg and a wonderful atmosphere—definitely a must-visit during your stay. We couldn’t have a chance to eat breakfast due to the jet lag but the breakfast buffet was outstanding, with an impressive selection of fresh, high-quality options to suit every taste. Every meal we had was delicious, and the dining experience exceeded our expectations. The staff were welcoming, professional, and always happy to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gothenburg and would happily stay here again!

This is a very nice hotel, immediately upon walking into the lobby there was someone ready to help. Checking in was a breeze and the room very comfortable and well appointed. The floor that I was on was very quiet all the time. They served breakfast buffet style and the choices were endless, the best selection and quality I have ever seen. It's very easy to over eat here. I partook in refreshments in the rooftop bar where spectacular views of the city were there for enjoyment and again very helpful staff in attendance. Any staff member that I spoke to used very good English so communication was very easy. If ever I'm in Gothenburg again I would definitely stay here.

This hotel although not directly in the centre of the city is a very pleasant 10-15min walk to the centre or a tram can be caught outside the hotel. We arrived early and were checked in by a lovely staff member at reception. This was very welcome after an early flight from the UK. We were also upgraded to a larger room on higher floor with a wonderful view of the river, bonus! The room was clean and well appointed, lovely walk-in shower and tea and coffee making facilities. There was no in room safe and this may be a problem for some, although, there are safety deposit boxes available should you require one. There is limited hanging space in a small wardrobe but no drawers at all to store clothes etc. We didn’t find this a problem as we were just there for a short stay. Our buffet breakfast was included and it was exceptional. Every dietary requirement catered for, it was a truly lavish spread, the choice was incredible. Minor issues were, no in-room safe, and our cups glasses and tea and coffee were never replaced or replenished. We did mention this to reception and managed to replace our tea and coffee requirements there. All the staff we encountered throughout our stay were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Couldn't really fault this hotel, great location and walking distance to all areas we wanted to visit. The staff are exceptional and so helpful and friendly. Sadly at check in we weren't informed that the roof top restaurant/bar wasn't open on a Sunday and as we were only there 2 nights was a shame as we planned to visit on the Sunday evening. The tea and coffee in our room was very limited and we were only left 2 sachets of coffee and small amount of milk but we survived (lol) Another thing we noticed that the TV did not work (not that we needed to watch as Gothenberg has plenty to see and do) The iron in our room was in poor condition and burnt my blouse. The reception staff kindly are hopefully sorting a refund for the newly purchased blouse with the finance department. Helene and Nathalie we have to mention as they were so welcoming and helpful. All said we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel. It was so clean. Didn't eat at the hotel so cant comment on the food. We were on the 21st floor and the views were excellent.

I have never experienced a more sweet and friendly staff like at clarion Draken in Gothenburg. Sweden. Alexandria was super amazing in helping and guiding us. She deserves a 5 star personal review. I am forgetting the name of this gentlemen with the long breard. He was so friendly and funny. He was super nice too. The breakfast was so elaborate with so much variety including personal omelette option. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
