Awesome Accommodation

Such a convenient place to stay. Clean, comfortable and close to the best of the Gold Coast. Great communication and instruction on finding and entering the room and parking. Parking probably a bit tight for a large car with a generous turning circle required

It was a very last minute and owner kindly accepted, was easy to contact and sent clear instructions for check in. Place was clean and nice smelling. Lots of beds to accommodate everyone comfortably. Will recommend

Pros: Good sized, well set out apartment in a convenient location to public transport. Cons: Linen was unclean and very poor quality. Most of the mattresses need replacing (I spelt on the lounge rather than the master bed). Overall, the apartment needs a good deep clean.

It had a bad smell and the room was dirty. People from outside were jumping into the block and into the balconies. Terrible stay

The apartment itself is old, but is clean and would usually be acceptable for a short stay. The bunk beds would be unsafe for little children, as they are right underneath an overhead fan, which is needed as the rooms are stuffy. Unfortunately the property had NO POWER for nearly our entire duration, including overnight. Energex arrived, and wanted to hook up a temporary generator, but the buildings electrician was uncontactable. Hence, no power overnight. No lights, no appliances, inability to charge phones. My 2 little ones were terrified. Raised issue with Expedia, but owner has refused to offer any form of refund. The owner seems to think we shoud still pay full price. We were only seeking partial refund, which seems very reasonable in the circumstances. Will be raising a case to ACCC.
