This was the second time we have stayed at the Hotel Stadt Hannover. It is a good category 3 hotel with comfortable, clean rooms and a good breakfast. The staff were very helpful≥

Perfectly situated: few minutes from center of old town and the train station/bus depot. An old building with much character. Rooms are small but comfortable. Staff is great. Can't think of anything that was missing or needs changing. Highly recommended

I just loved this classic old German hotel. It was exactly what we needed for our one-nigut stay in Göttingen. Most importantly: this hotel has WASHCLOTHS! The only one I've found in many years of European travel! But also, every employee we encountered was extremely pleasant, and the room was one of those classic old German hotel rooms work double doors, wooden furniture and big funky windows. The breakfast was very reasonable at €11.50, and we chowed down! I would return anytime.

Hotel Stadt Hannover, set in a fine old house once owned by a professor in the university town of Goettingen, has great charm and comfort, with a wonderful staff. If these words appeal, to you, choose it. If you want most modern, go elsewhere.

Äußerst freundliches Personal - Rezeption, Service! Ich hatte wohl das kleinste Einzelzimmer, was es überhaupt gibt, aber es war alles was man braucht vorhanden und zudem noch sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet! Das Minibadezimmer war sehr neu und unglaublich durchdacht bestückt ! Das Hotel ist für einen Stadtbesuch bestens zu empfehlen!

...ansonsten sehr freundliches, engagiertes Personal, sehr gute Lage. Insgesamt recht teuer für 3 Sterne, Frühstück und Parkplätze extra zusätzlich zu bezahlen. Getränke an der Rezeption extrem teuer, teurer als im Restaurant!!
