"If you want a fancy, new and “standard” hotel with all the bells and whistles, this isn’t for you. But if you like clean, friendly, funky, reasonably priced rooms in a good location, ( that truly qualifies as a “motel”), then this might be just right. The place is charming from the outside and a throwback to the 60’s interior décor (maybe actually from the 60’s). I’ve stayed in two different rooms and they were unique and quirky. This is my go-to motel now when I’m in Glenwood Springs"

"A clean room. Updated amenities. Two negatives: Swarming gnats/tiny bugs around the outside light right against the entry door. Tiny bugs entered easily when opening the door. Harmless bugs but unwelcome. No in room coffee, had to walk to office for it. Might look elsewhere for next overnight stay."

"Staff was helpful & friendly. Ate 3 meals in restaurant. First two were excellent. Third meal, my chicken piccata was inedibly tough. I sent it back & ordered a burger which was ok. The waitress indicated that this wasn’t the first complaint about the chicken. The disheartening part was no offer of a comp or even a discount. The manager said “two out of three is good, right?”!!! Seriously???"
