Books and pictures from long ago decorate the dinning room. The food is very good and good quality. I recommend having dinner on the first night. We had dinner there each night of our three night stay. "

If you want a true taste of history, this is the place to stay. The rooms are adequate and warm, though ours had a rather slanted floor.
