"This is a very convenient hotel to overnight on the way to the ferry ports to UK. It is about 100m from the E40 although there was no noise from the road. The room was large, very smart, air con and has tea and coffee facilities. The restaurant and bars were attractive but we took the opportunity of driving into Brugge. Check in staff were lovely. There is a local town with pubs and shops, and Brugge is just 8 Km away. The parking at -'t Zand Underground Garage is excellent plentiful, 5 mins...

"Pro: AC worked very well, bed was very comfortable. Room was spacious. Con: Towels didn’t smell fresh. Shower didn’t drain properly. Staff made us wait to ensure they got their money from Expedia which I thought was really weird. All attention at check out went there and they didn’t ask if we had enjoyed our stay."

"We loved our stay at this absolutely charming and beautiful hotel Ypres. It’s set on extensive and beautifully landscape grounds only a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. Extremely well maintained to a very high standard, the staff was marvellous and the dining room was excellent. The cost for breakfast seemed a little high at first, but after we experienced the breakfast, we had no reservations. Extensive buffet with freshly cooked options. Very high-quality. We also enjoyed dinner there...

"Hôtel qui a pour lui sa situation idéale dans Bruges, mais dont les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur des très bons avis lus ici. Dans la chambre particulièrement mal agencée, seule la literie est au niveau. La climatisation plutôt inefficace est très bruyante, les rideaux sont plus tamisants qu'occultants, mini-bar et plateau de courtoisie font défaut tout comme un nécessaire d'écriture. L'entretien laisse à désirer : toiles d'araignée sur les fenêtres, meubles et peintures abîmés......
