We weren't informed ahead of time that this property is in transition to becoming a Doubletree. The systems weren't working properly, so checking was delayed and manual. The room was fine, though no place to unpack clothes. Very noisy room even though were on the ninth floor. Restaurant was closed due to construction.

Staff are very friendly and rooms are well appointed. Corners are cut with the amenities and there are not many restaurant choices within walking distance , apart from a very good Japanese about 100 metres away.For a short business trip it ticks all the boxes.

Lovely hotel

Beautiful hotel conveniently located right next to metro and trams. There is also a very good breakfast buffet. Make sure to say hello in the breakfast area to Giuseppe who’ll give you excellent restaurant advice. Our only complaint was that the television service was limited to a few Dutch channels.

The breakfast was the same options everyday. While the continental breakfast had a good range, the English hot breakfast range was limited. The bar closed too early. However, transport was very good. Both tram and Metro stops at the hotel and only 5 mins away from Rotterdam Centrael.
